The government of Canada passed legislation to protect you and your inbox from spam. This website's operation is dependent on you receiving emails with notifications of registration forms, blogs, news or other related information.

By consenting to these terms of service, you confirm that you would like to continue to receive emails from this website and from the organizations you foin, about registration, news, events, blogs and possibly other promotions, and/or products and services.

You can unsubscribe to all emails, including registration and membership emails, by suspending your account.

Cookies

We use cookies to make this site more friendly and useful to you, so you don't have to login every time you visit, tracking your progress etc. We do not share the information collected via our cookies, with any third parties, other than the hosted organizations you join/subscribe to, if any.

Data we collect

We do not give your information to 3rd parties, other than the hosted organizations you join here, except if obliged under the Canadian law or if we feel compelled to assist in a police investigation or with our partners, to serve you better.

You can ask to have your account and all data we store about you deleted. Note that the hosted organizations you gave extra information to, may have duplicated that and you will have to ask them as well.

Types of data we collect related to you:

• Name and email
• Contact info (address, phone) - this is optional and, if provided, it will be shared with the hosted organizations you may join.

Hosted organizations:

• The data we collect about you is shared with the hosted organizations you join/follow

The data is stored in the cloud, currently in the U.S., but due to redundancy and fail-over features needed to keep our service resilient, it may be stored temporarily or permanently elsewhere, without us being able to notify you about changes.

In relation to your data, we are the Data Controller. Currently, the Data Processor is Digital Ocean - see the Data Processing Agreement.

We may be both Data Collector and Data Processor, depending on the relation to the organizations you join and how you use their hosted websites.
